Halloween Looks So Different These Days

What happened to Halloween? At our house, it meant Disney Princesses and plastic pumpkin bags stuffed to the rim with leaves. It also meant pigtails or crowns and little round pumpkin baskets with a tiny handle for small hands. What happened to Halloween?

Uh... Minnie Mouse didn't rock out and put on a "tude" pout. Halloween looks so different these days.

She made Princess's costume, too. From scratch. With scraps. By herself. Isn't she amazing?!?

Maternity Never Looked So Good

I've truly never seen a more beautiful pregnant woman. (Except all the other beautiful pregnant women I've know! : D ) This dear lady and her husband allowed me in to her home to capture this precious time in their lives. We were lucky to have a great little park nearby for some quick shots outdoors, too. Isn't she lovely?

The session was just before Halloween. "Daddy" happened to have recently brought home the perfect pumpkin. How could we resist?

A Mother and Her Son

Eight years ago my life changed. I met a woman who is kind, thoughtful, creative, funny and so loving. She has a son, who is also a special person. These two make the world a better place. Thank you for your friendship.

A wonderful challenge!

This family is sweet, fun and BUSY! With two little angels ages 2 and 9 months, we knew getting a good family shot would be a challenge. Well, it may not have been easy, but it was worth every wonderful minute!

So full of love

Have you ever been around a person, or couple, or family that was so full of love you could feel it when you were near them? This family unknowingly moved me to tears THREE TIMES during their session. They genuinely love one another, to their core, and it was one of the most beautiful things I've ever experienced.

And they are beautiful on the outside, too. : )
